Connecticut State Department of Education recognized educators from across the state last night at the Teacher of the Year Ceremony held at the Bushnell Theater. Granby Public Schools 2025 Teacher of the Year, Kristin LaFlamme, was accompanied by Wells Road Principal, Pauline Greer. Congratulations Kristin.
Granby teachers engaged in a productive day of discussions on mental health first aid, elementary reading programs, and various other important topics.

We had a fabulous opening day with all Granby Public School staff on Thursday, August 22, 2024. We kicked off our theme for the year Connect. Believe. Achieve. and honored both our Teacher of the Year and Staff Person of the Year.
What do our principals do in the summer? Mrs. Bava celebrates her student's summer birthday!
What do our facilities and maintenance staff do in the summer? EVERYTHING! They are hard at work all summer long updating our facilities, painting, moving offices and classrooms, installing new equipment, maintaining our athletic fields... the list is long! This summer NEW BOILERS were installed at Granby Memorial Middle School. They are energy efficient, clean and small!
