It was such a special evening celebrating two outstanding 8th-grade students, Callie and Henry, at the CAS Scholar Leader Awards Banquet.

These awards recognize students whose character, leadership, and impact on others are just as important as their academic success, and Callie and Henry truly embody all of those qualities each and every day.

So proud of both of you and all that you bring to our school community. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!

Students in our FISH Kids club participated in a culminating field trip focused on hands-on environmental science learning.

Students released trout in Tariffville and learned about fish stocking and river ecosystems from experts, toured the Robert E. Barrett Fish Elevator at the Holyoke Dam, and visited the Dinosaur Footprint Reservation to explore ancient fossil tracks!

A great day of connecting classroom learning to real-world science, conservation, and local history!

Our 7th-grade artists have been exploring contour drawing by using one of the most familiar subjects they have --- their own hands!

Mrs. Bryanton kicked things off with a live demonstration, showing students how artists carefully observe the lines, shapes, and details of what they see rather than what they think they see. After watching the technique in action, students jumped right in and began sketching their own hands without looking at their paper.
