Mission Statement

All students will become powerful thinkers, effective collaborators, and compassionate contributors in preparation for success in a dynamic, interdependent world.

Pupil Services

The Granby Public Schools serves approximately 1,874 students in grades K-12. The Pupil Service Department supports 242 students who have formal Individual Education Plans (IEP’s). In a very real sense, pupil services staff strive to work collaboratively and cooperatively with school system staff to meet the needs of all students.

For more than two decades, the department has maintained a philosophy and practice of including all students in the curriculum and programs of the school system. This is accomplished by bringing services to students within their individual classrooms, whenever possible, and by modifying the curriculum and adjusting the classroom environment. Granby’s four schools provide similar services while tailoring those services to the unique needs of the developmental levels and curriculum demands.
