Welcome to Granby Memorial Middle School, a grade 6 to 8 public middle school in Granby Connecticut. We are 20 minutes north of Hartford and 30 minutes South of Springfield, Massachusetts. Granby Memorial Middle School has a total enrollment of around 450 students. We are committed to the Restorative Philosophy and building relationships with our students to help foster a successful transition from childhood to early adolescence. Our faculty and staff are exceptional and offer a strong diverse curriculum that recognizes and accommodates all learning styles.

At Granby Memorial Middle School we utilize the Middle School Model team approach. Each grade level team consists of teachers specializing in traditional academic subjects of Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. In addition, we also offer French, Spanish, Chinese, Art, Music, Band, Chorus, Technology Education, Family Consumer Science, Health, and Physical Education.

Along with robust academic courses, we also offer a wide range of extracurricular opportunities throughout the year. At Granby Memorial Middle School, students are able to join the following after school clubs: Adventure Club, Angle Horses, Art Club, Drama Club, Fish Kids, Games Club, History Day Competition Club, Homework Club, Jazz Band, Literacy Magazine, Makerspace Club, GMMS Newspaper Club, Robotics Club, Environmental Club, Select Choir, Student Council, and Yearbook Club. In addition, students may participate in middle school sports such as Cross Country, Soccer, Field Hockey, Basketball, Softball, and Baseball.
