Updated homework assignments
From now until the end of the year students will have a reading response due every OTHER week. Current events will continue to be due very other week as well. For example, if your child has a current event due the week of 4/1, their reading response will be due the week of 4/8.
Although the students have less homework, I expect them to hand in high-quality work. As I told the students, they should be striving for 2+ work!

Week of 1/14 HOMEWORK
There will be no reading response due this week. In its place, each student is required to write a piece to submit to the CT Writers Magazine contest. This piece of writing can be a poem, drama, story, or essay. It can be something brand new or a piece that your child has already written and would like to edit and revise.
Submissions are due to Miss Giannitti by Friday, January 18th.
